Cycle tours in Extremadura and El Maestrazgo
Described here, are four cycle tours. Each of the tours is in a very quiet area of Spain. As well as being great for cycling, both Extremadura and El Maestrazgo have a rich and fascinating history, wonderful traditional cuisine and dramatic landscapes.
Northern Extremadura in western Spain features in three of the tours. This is a remote area and some time is required in order to reach the region from Madrid or elsewhere.
El Maestrazgo, in eastern Spain, is the other destination and is easily reached from Valencia or Barcelona.
